4Chan apparently came up with the idea to rig the contest, which smells like so much fresh, delicious troll bait that the rest of the internet couldn’t resist. Horace Mann School already has near 25,000 votes, and we’re going to assume that number will continue to grow. There isn’t a scoreboard to view votes, but we’re going to assume that’s probably leaps and bounds above their competition. Of course, according to the official rules of the contest, Swift could back out and not perform to avoid being the butt of the internet’s joke, but what kind of horrible person would that make her?”
